This was a very quick pulao to cook and was very tasty.
chana soaked over night – 1 cup
rice – 2 cups
onions – 1 chopped
green chillies – 3
boiled potato – 1 cut into medium pieces ( you can cut potato into small pieces and fry it in oil for 5min such that it gets cooked instead of boiling it. this is optional for boiled potato)
ginger gralic paste – 1 tbsp
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
oil – 2 tbsp
boil chana and drain water in it.
Take a pan on the stove. Add oil , jeera , chopped onions and green chillies.
fry onions for 2-3min
Add ginger garlic paste, salt and turmeric.
fry for 1-2mins on low flame until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste is gone.
Now add chana , boiled potato pieces , cooked rice.
Saute it well til it is dry.
Serve the tasty pulao with raitha and papad.
