Tawa Pulao

Ingredients :

Rice – 1 cup

Cumin (jeera) – 1/2 tbsp

Onion — 1 chopped

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Carrot – 1

Green peas – 1/4 cup

Tomatoes — 2 (medium)

Capsicum  – 1/2 cup chopped

Red chilli paste – 1 tbsp

Pav bhaji masala – 1 tbsp

Heat oil in pan and add cumin.

Add  onions, tomatoes chopped,ginger garlic paste,  salt. Fry till tomatoes are soft.

Add vegetables, red chilli paste , pav bhaji masala … Mix well..add 1/4 cup of water and cook till vegetables are softly cooked and water evaporates.

Now add cooked rice and mix well.

Garnish with corriander leaves.

Please note that red chilli paste is optional here and you can add depending on the spicy level you prefer.

Serve this hot pulao with either raitha or any side dish.
